Russia 2021
Design for the 2021 Russian Grand Prix podium started with a blank canvas, giving our team of designers creative freedom and allowing them to find their own inspiration.
The Sochi Autodrom was built within the Olympic village for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games making it a part-street circuit. In similar fashion to how the track is influenced, our designers chose to take inspiration from the surroundings.
The idea was to combine old and new by incorporating local landmarks with a traditional Russian folk pattern called Khokhloma which is a style painting on wood.
